Working Principle of Single Flow Rotary Joints

The joints are used when supplies as well as return lines are connected to the opposite side of the cylinder. Here the transfer of the medium is in one mono direction via the joint. A unique feature is that media can be moved at a high speed with high pressure. It is used for different applications for various industries for different media like steam, water, coolant, etc. These are easy to install and needs low maintenance, and has compact balanced mechanical seal. It has self-supported rotating joints, and extremely long service life under normal application. It is used in water steam and hot oil service.

Working Principle of Dual Flow Rotary Joints

Here the supply and return lines are connected on the same side of the cylinder and stationary is within the Siphon pipe. The joints allow return and supply via the same union. It is available in high speed configurations and high pressure for different media such as water, thermal oil, hot water, etc.

In addition, it has 2-Passage rotating joints for different media, have self-supporting rotating joints, and wear resistant for smooth operation. For clamping and unclamping, two independent passages are present for applications. Self-supporting rotary seal is used for transferring different media from rotating machinery. It is standardized for fixed pipe for dual flow construction.
